Material Possessions welcomes Ashley Gomez and Linda Casey, Oh My Mahjong certified instructors and founders of the renowned Dallas Mahjong club, for 2 days of lessons at Material Possessions!  These are small group classes of 4 tables so spaces are limited.  Don't miss you chance to learn the game re-sweeping the nation.

Our visiting experts are retired educators with over 35 years of combined teaching experience. Their journey with American Mahjong began in 2019, and quickly became a passion. They started by teaching friends, family and local organizations, which blossomed into a vibrant community initiative.

As certified Oh My Mahjong instructors, they have been nationally recognized in magazines, podcasts, as well as interviewed about their passion and expertise on Good Morning America!

Their mission is simple: to provide American Mahjong lessons that cultivate both skill and
confidence, inspiring players to become a part of a growing Mahjong community.

LESSON DESCRIPTIONS

Mahjong Lesson 101: Two and Half Hour Course, Maximum Capacity: 16 Players
An introductory lesson designed for brand new players. This three part lesson includes tile identification, understanding the card, and rules of play.

Mahjong Lesson 102: Two and Half Hour Course, Maximum Capacity: 20 Players
A continuation of Lesson 101, designed for players who need guided practice or have some experience and want to build on their foundational skills.

COST: $75 per player for a 2.5 lesson (Non-refundable)

• 2:00pm-4:30pm Mahjong 101 Lesson
• 6:00pm- 8:30pm Mahjong 101 Lesson

Thursday, November 6th Class Schedule

• 10:00am-12:30pm Mahjong 101 Lesson
• 2:00pm-4:30pm Mahjong 102 Lesson
• 6:00pm- 8:30pm Mahjong 102 Lesson

Each class session will be led by 1-2 Dallas Mahjong Club instructors to
ensure a high level of individual attention.
